As part of the experimental project work with Drumstick, Yassin has designed the Air Chair, which just not uses the waste plastic bottles as the basic material to create it, but conceptually goes into the depth of recycling this product. The designer has thought of using the air inside these waste-considered mineral water bottles and has tried to come up with a unique environmentally friendly chair that has been titled Air Chair for the concept it has taken up to be formed.
This multipurpose chair is designed by reusing only 132 plastic bottles of mineral water! It is not the bottle’s structure that is used to create a green design for this chair, but it ultimately is the air inside the bottle that takes the weight of a person and supports comfortably. Air Chair is quite sustainable and light to use. It is a good addition to your Eco-friendly set of furniture and just takes some cutting and knitting to be designed. The bottles get together in a required shape by bundling them up using a thick and strong thread.
Air Chair’s design seems well patterned because plastic bottles are organized in a very tidy and lined-up manner. These recycled bottles get arranged in a beautiful form as of a mattress, and then these forms are shaped up in a stylish and coordinated fashion. There is enough support from the lower end, as well as the back side to make the seating comfortable. The inside air makes one feel light while sitting on the Air Chair.
