Over the years, our quest for inhabiting a space colony someday has inspired each one of us to see above for seeking compensation for lack of habitable space on earth. Hoping to get there fast, NASA completed countless space colony studies in the 1970s. It also utilized expert services of Princeton physicist Gerard O’Neill to imagine certain giant orbiting spaceships within our solar system. The stellar outpost was hoped to be large enough to house 10,000 people.
The ‘seriously trippy images’ by painter Don Davis put forth a wonderland sopping with green spaces. It’s an unbelievingly impressive art that transcends the tenets of modern science.
