Thought carpets were boring? Now, get as playful as you want. We Make Carpets gives each carpet a unique and unimaginable crafting material. Designers Marcia Nolte and Stijn Van Der Vleuten along with visual artist Bob Waardenburg create temporary carpets from materials ranging from plastic forks to pasta to mustard seeds to even little army figurines.
These aesthetically appealing rugs crafted by the trio are exhibited at multiple locations. Leaving the spectators speechless are rugs like the pasta carpet made using macaroni, the army carpet made out of two colors of plastic soldiers, the mustard carpet crafted from two colored mustard seeds, the fork carpet created using cheap plastic forks and the brick carpet made from bricks. These carpets make a great treat for the eyes.
