As the world unites to support the affected millions, quake-hit Haiti is gradually recovering from the distressing repercussions. Now, some D.C. students from the Arch Training Center are making solar suitcases that would help the surgeons working in Haiti “to light up an operating room for six hours.” A Californian couple came up with the idea and the kids at Arch implemented it in no time.
I was just like ‘wow’. I am doing something that’s positive. And they really need this stuff. It’s pretty cool to know that I’m helping out. It’s like ‘I did that!’. Pretty cool? Yea. Makes me feel real good.
