Multiple car models powered with IMA hybrid system, a new plug-in hybrid vehicle for the US and Japan by the end of 2012, and bumping up the FCX Clarity hydrogen vehicle says a lot about Honda’s commitment to stay competitive in the race to clean transportation. If we believe what the company CEO Takanobu Ito said in his annual mid-year speech, Honda will keep launching more efficient and green vehicles through the next decade.
The company, as of now, is concentrating on revving up the next-generation Civic Hybrid with a lithium-ion battery pack. A new sub-£7000 small car, planned for emerging world markets, will be launched in India next year.
