The concept behind the Bike Bench is a little unique as compared to the usual products seen around. Itâs not often that one gets a chance to see how much of our strength can be used to help preserve energy. The Bike bench concept came to light in the Design show, while it simply explained the underlying concept behind it.
Designer students at Central Saint Martins and Chiara Montgomerie from BDâs online collaborated together to come up with the Bike Bench concept. By fusing a bike and a lamp together, the bike tests how much of physical strength one can conjure to make the lamp glow. Not only is this a very ingenious idea, itâs the peak of innovation.The bike simply converts all the physical energy into electrical energy, thereby, making us remember our science basics from school.
With a great way to motivate oneâs self to pedal faster, not only would this provide the much needed exercise, it would also act as a means to keep you fit. Guess the statement âPedal yourself to a great healthâ would finally ring true with this one of a time gadget.
