You must have come across many robos, but none like the one by designer Bharoto Yekti. The Plant-o-Bot, as the creator calls it, is designed with a goal to make people realize the importance of a green environment and encourage them to preserve it. The idea behind the robot concept is to keep a robo breathing by using up power from the plants that resides on its body.
The Plant-o-Bot robot has plants living in its body that are taken care of using various devices on its arms such as 3 useful planting tools, cultivator, scissor and watering equipment. To make it easier to judge each plants health, the robo has an contains an energy meter on its chest that shows a green color when the plant are in excellent conditions, while changes to red in case when the plant is dead or undergoing an unhealthy condition. What an ingenious way to maintain a green environment!
