Artist through ages have been known for using their imagination and creativity to give shape to masterpieces. Ryo Shimizu, a Japanese artist, did the same when he made a human shell from matchsticks. The idea was certainly unique in itself as the artist used matchsticks to form human shell.
The structure was given shape with the help of thousand matchsticks placed brilliantly to form a superb structure resembling a human body in sitting position. The figure appeared wonderful when the light passed through it.The concept was different and it was efforts of Ryo Shizimu, who aligned matchstick to form a stable structure. It’s a treat to eyes to witness such thing that was constructed with so much time and patience. Once you see the matchstick man you can yourself think how much hard work and creativity have been put in by the artist to give it this kind of shape.
Artist has termed this particular style of sculpture as matchstick drawing. This is not the first unique thing created by Ryo. Earlier, he was in news for creating a letter wall in which walls of the room were filled by writing.
