Spain gets its first cubical vertical garden

Innovators at Paisajismo Urbano have come up with the first plant cube – a cubical vertical garden erected in Getafe, Spain. Its four sides covered with 32 square meters gardens exude green lavishness while making sure that the perfunctory components housed within the four walls produce least noise. Tech seems to creep in as the automatic, self-cleaning system spreads fertilizer, and sends SMS when it detects an anomalous performance. Approximately 2,500 plants, including herbs, perennials, and ferns, are planted on the 128 square meter area, which absorbs 16,640 grams of dust per year. The vertical garden also produces oxygen for 128 people for a year.
