Toilet paper wedding dresses

In anybody’s life, wedding is a big event. It’s a matter of sentiments, happiness and dreams of a happy and loving future. Since this is an issue related with sentiments people tend to spend lots of money without seeing the logic behind the expenditure and end up spending a lot of money. There are few web portals that believe in providing clients wedding related services on reasonable prices and encouraging them not to overspend on wedding only to regret later. Recently, one such portal held a competition in which contestants made beautiful gowns from toilet paper. The gowns were high on creativity and fashion and low on budget and above all they are made up of something biodegradable which will not harm the environment in long run. Otherwise most of the luxurious things are made up of such materials which are non biodegradable, inflicting damage to the environment for many years to come.

The entries were very inspiring and not for a single moment did they look like something cheap. They were elegant and had detailed work done on them. The first prize was won by Susan Brennan. She made an exquisite gown with the help of toilet paper and glue. She used flowers and feathers in her gown of 4 rolls of paper and made beautiful pleats on the bodice to give it a delicate look. Second prize was won by Laura Lee who used 5 rolls in the gown made exquisite frills on the entire gown with the help of paper. Third prize was won by Synthia who used 20 rolls of paper and made an exotic gown full of flowers and frills with a long trail flowing at the back.

These gowns do not look like made up of toilet paper and easily qualify as boutique creation. The point is to learn that overspending alone does not make a successful wedding. By not getting involved into useless expenditures of money, electricity, water, and other resources, which is bound to happen on extravaganzas, we not only do good for our pockets, we also help in saving environment and keeping it clean and green.
