Engineering firm LBBC Technologies introduces the chemistry of natural decomposition of corpses via their new cremation device called Resomator that produces no emissions or smoke all through the clean process. The West Yorkshire-based firm uses a mixture of water and potassium hydroxide to soften stiff tissues and organs. The entire process takes less than three hours to break down the body under extreme pressure and heat that mounts up to a whopping 180 degrees Celsius.
The corpse is carried to the Resomator in a reusable wooden casket just to ensure that it remains to be a clean system. A metal cylinder holding a stainless steel shelf then holds the person’s body. The only residue is a skeleton that is ground to dust; rest is drained away. LBBC has sold three of these machines in America and Canada. Florida, Minnesota and Toronto in Canada await the delivery of more such units.
