Tesco to build zero-carbon hypermarket in Czech Republic

greenest hypermarket

After taking over the British market, Tesco now moves eastwards to build the world’s first zero carbon footprint hypermarket in the Czech Republic. Though nothing is revealed about the exact details of the project, it is assumed that the whole building might flaunt photovoltaic panels mounted on its roof to produce electricity. Maybe, you would see forests somewhere near it to offset the negligible carbon emissions it generates.

Other options include the use of carbon dioxide in the building’s cooling and refrigerating systems. Tesco might ensure maximum exposure to sunlight.
